Bruce Jensen

Executive Vice President

Bruce Jensen of TotalWorks on linkedin

From an early age Bruce realized the value of digging in and working hard. Although his grandfather, John Jensen, started the typesetting firm in 1927, Bruce began his career in the family business as a foot messenger. No cushy assignments would suffice for a guy like Bruce.

In 1985, after working in just about every position we have, Bruce assumed the role of executive vice president, where he applies the production and technology expertise learned throughout his career. His proficiency in color management and publishing workflow help us to initiate internal system upgrades which lead to more efficient production.

Through a focus on technology, Bruce now helps to lead our strategic initiatives with an eye for details and an uncanny ability to spot problems. From hardware to software to workflow development, he has a way of finding the right tools to get work done. Bruce oversees the internal IT processes at TotalWorks and is involved in optimizing the company’s publishing workflow by implementing best-practice systems and software.

Prior to officially joining the TotalWorks family, Bruce was production manager at R.F. Schmidt and Associates commercial art studio in Chicago. There, he managed all production processes, staff and workflows, and focused on achieving efficiencies.

Bruce attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and graphic arts. He is a member of IPA – The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers.
